Project Overview
This project, carried out for Al ARAAB Holding Company, involves the installation and commissioning of a Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) at King Abdullah Camp in Jazan Governorate.
The project aims to provide a complete and fully operational wastewater treatment facility through the installation of treatment systems, mechanical and electrical equipment, control systems, and associated infrastructure, followed by comprehensive commissioning activities to ensure reliable and efficient operation.
The project supports sustainable wastewater management at King Abdullah Camp by improving sewage treatment capabilities, ensuring compliance with environmental requirements, enhancing operational reliability, and providing safe treatment and disposal of wastewater in accordance with approved engineering standards.
Scope of Work
The project includes complete installation and commissioning works for the sewage treatment plant, including:
- Site inspection, coordination, and verification of installation requirements.
- Installation and assembly of sewage treatment plant equipment and treatment units.
- Installation of wastewater treatment systems, including screening units, biological treatment units, aeration systems, clarification units, sludge handling systems, and disinfection facilities.
- Installation of mechanical equipment, including pumps, blowers, mixers, valves, pipelines, and auxiliary systems.
- Installation of electrical systems, power distribution panels, Motor Control Centres (MCCs), instrumentation, automation systems, and SCADA systems where applicable.
- Installation and integration of process control and monitoring systems.
- Execution of piping works and connection of all treatment plant components.
- Testing and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and process systems.
- Calibration and verification of instruments and control equipment.
- Performance testing to confirm treatment efficiency and compliance with design criteria.
- Start-up support and operational assistance during the initial running period.
- Preparation of operation manuals, technical documents, testing reports, and as-built drawings.
- Ensuring compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements throughout project execution.
