Project Overview

This project, carried out for the National Water Company, involves comprehensive operation and maintenance services for the Sewage Water Treatment Plant in Wadi Ad-Dawasir Governorate.

The project aims to ensure the continuous, efficient, and reliable operation of the wastewater treatment facility through professional operation, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and effective technical management. It focuses on maintaining treated wastewater quality, improving plant performance, and ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, operational standards, and sustainability requirements.

Scope of Work

The project encompasses comprehensive operation and maintenance activities for the Sewage Water Treatment Plant, including:

  • Continuous operation and monitoring of all wastewater treatment processes and plant facilities.
  • Operation and maintenance of treatment units, including screening systems, grit removal units, biological treatment units, aeration tanks, sedimentation tanks, sludge treatment systems, and disinfection facilities.
  • Preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of pumps, motors, blowers, valves, generators, electrical panels, mechanical equipment, and electromechanical systems.
  • Monitoring influent and treated wastewater quality through laboratory analysis to ensure compliance with environmental standards.
  • Operation and maintenance of SCADA, instrumentation, automation, and control systems where applicable.
  • Monitoring treatment efficiency, flow rates, operational parameters, and equipment performance indicators.
  • Inspection, cleaning, and maintenance of tanks, pipelines, channels, valves, and associated infrastructure.
  • Optimisation of treatment processes to improve operational efficiency and maintain treated wastewater quality.
  • Emergency response, troubleshooting, and corrective maintenance to minimise operational interruptions.
  • Spare parts management, equipment condition assessment, and replacement of deteriorated components.
  • Preparation of operation and maintenance plans, technical reports, performance evaluations, and operational documentation according to National Water Company requirements.
  • Ensuring compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards throughout all project activities.
