Project Overview
This project, carried out for Al ARAAB Holding Company, involves the installation, testing, and commissioning of the complete Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) at King Abdullah Developed Housing in Jazan Governorate.
The project aims to provide a fully operational wastewater treatment facility through the installation of all treatment plant systems, equipment, and associated infrastructure. The works include mechanical, electrical, and process installations, followed by comprehensive testing and commissioning to ensure reliable and efficient plant operation.
The project supports sustainable wastewater management for King Abdullah Developed Housing by providing an effective sewage treatment solution, improving environmental protection, ensuring compliance with wastewater treatment standards, and enabling safe disposal or reuse of treated water.
Scope of Work
The project includes complete installation, testing, and commissioning works for the sewage treatment plant, including:
- Site inspection and verification of project requirements and existing conditions.
- Supply, installation, and assembly of all STP equipment and treatment units.
- Installation of wastewater treatment processes, including screening systems, biological treatment units, aeration systems, clarification units, sludge handling systems, and disinfection facilities.
- Installation of mechanical equipment, including pumps, blowers, mixers, valves, pipelines, and auxiliary systems.
- Installation of electrical systems, power distribution panels, Motor Control Centres (MCCs), instrumentation, automation systems, and SCADA systems where applicable.
- Installation of control systems and monitoring equipment for efficient plant operation.
- Execution of piping works, equipment connections, and integration of all treatment plant components.
- Testing and commissioning of mechanical, electrical, and process systems.
- Performance testing to verify treatment efficiency and compliance with design requirements.
- Calibration and verification of instruments and control systems.
- Preparation of operation manuals, technical documentation, testing reports, and as-built drawings.
- Providing technical support during start-up and initial operation.
- Ensuring compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements throughout project execution.
