Project Overview

This project, carried out for the Saudi Arabia Ministry of Water & Electricity, involves the installation of water flow meters on the discharge lines of deep well water pumps in Hail Governorate.

The project aims to enhance water resource monitoring and management by installing accurate flow measurement systems to measure and record water production from deep wells. The implementation of flow meters improves operational control, supports efficient water distribution, and provides reliable data for water production management and system optimisation.

Scope of Work

The project includes the supply, installation, and commissioning of water flow measurement systems, including:

  • Site survey and assessment of existing deep well pump discharge lines.
  • Supply and installation of water flow meters suitable for deep well pumping systems.
  • Installation of associated fittings, valves, flanges, and connection accessories.
  • Modification and adaptation of existing discharge pipelines to accommodate flow measurement equipment.
  • Installation of instrumentation and related control components where required.
  • Testing and calibration of installed flow meters to ensure accurate measurement.
  • Verification of flow readings and integration with existing monitoring systems where applicable.
  • Inspection and quality control of installation works.
  • Providing technical support and operational recommendations for meter maintenance and performance monitoring.
  • Preparation of technical documentation, installation records, testing reports, and commissioning documents.
  • Ensuring compliance with occupational health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements during project execution.
